A cancer diagnosis is crippling

The whole family’s world is turned upside down. They have to navigate through terrifying, foreign and lonely territory.

We knew we couldn’t do it alone.

During Brynn’s five-year battle, we knew we could not do this alone.  First and foremost, we wanted our girl to hold on to hope and be cured of her cancer.  We also held, at the same time, the desire and focus for Brynn to live out her childhood to the fullest extent possible.

we battled for wellbeing.

We turned over every rock and reached out to anyone that we thought could help our sweet girl - medically, physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally. We ran into many dead ends but also discovered many amazing people and resources that helped Brynn (and our family) thrive through this journey.

We want to help others do the same.

We began the Brynn Wheeler Foundation out of a desire to honor Brynn’s legacy of living life to the fullest in the face of life’s greatest adversities. The foundation’s goal is to improve the quality of life for children diagnosed with cancer, like Brynn, and their families. We aim to do this by raising funding to aid in groundbreaking research and providing resources and support to families helping their child live life to its fullest during treatment.

our mission

The unwavering pursuit of hope, wholeness and a thriving life while navigating the journey of childhood cancer

How can we make a difference?

  • By providing financial support for expenses related to the physical, mental, social and emotional wellbeing of children battling cancer.

  • By creating resources containing practical tools, guides, and information to help families advocate for their child and manage their care.

  • By funding research by other nonprofits that prioritize less toxic treatments for Ewing’s Sarcoma.
